This course is aimed at paediatric dietitians who are new to working in renal or who manage a few shared care patients. You will have the opportunity to hear from experienced dietitians working within a busy Paediatric Nephrology Unit.
The morning will consist of lectures and case studies including:
• A medical overview of paediatric renal disease from a Paediatric Nephrology Consultant
• The practical dietetic management of:
Chronic kidney disease (including phosphate management), dialysis, acute kidney injury, nephrotic syndrome and renal tubular disorders
