CATS Stabilisation and Transport Simulation


Technology Enhanced Learning course focusing on core clinical and team working skills 

required for the stabilisation and transport of critically ill children.

Refreshments and lunch are included.

Designed for clinical teams involved in the initial management and stabilisation of critically ill children in the District General Hospital or Accident and Emergency (A&E) setting.

It aims to tutor the knowledge, skills, and confidence required in the recognition, resuscitation, and stabilisation for transfer of critically ill children. Places are allotted for Paediatric, Anaesthetic, and A&E nurses and doctors in order to replicate a realistic team makeup. A special focus is placed on the importance of team performance.


We aim to replicate clinical scenarios as accurately as possible. This means welcoming candidates from a variety of clinical backgrounds.


Places are allocated by job role in order to run simulated scenarios as teams, so please select the relevant price category for your job role (all categories cost the same) so we can provide the best course experience for you.
