The study day aims to prepare Advanced Clinical Practitioners to safely and effectively manage paediatric patients through critical illness. Bootcamp moves beyond the development of practical skills by focusing on crisis leadership, and supporting practitioners to troubleshoot common issues that arise in the context of paediatric emergency care.
Candidates can expect to;
•Enhance practice in stabilisation and management of patients in a variety of critical illness scenarios
•Improve confidence in clinical reasoning and consideration for differential diagnoses when managing critical illness
•Rehearse advanced airway management, manual ventilation and difficult IV access techniques
