Would you like to learn more about signing? Would you like to communicate with all your patients? If so, attending this half-day teaching session will give participants an introduction to other effective communication tools. You will learn 30 key signs for use in the hospital environment; we will explore barriers to effective communication with children and learn helpful solutions to overcome them. This course has been designed for staff who would like to develop strategies for communicating with children who may have additional needs. This course is open to all those in patient-facing roles.
The Postgraduate Medical Education Department funds fully-subsidised places on learning events making these free for internal delegates and at a reduced rate for external delegates.
