The Paediatric Spirometry course provides expert training in spirometry performance, quality control, anatomy, pathophysiology, interpretation and practical workshops.
The course is led by experienced Paediatric Respiratory Physiologists from Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. The course content follows that outlined in the ARTP National Spirometry Certification standards document, to prepare candidates for the ARTP Paediatric Spirometry Certification process.

The course will be delivered over two days:
- Day 1 (Virtual): Thursday 8th October 2026, 9:00 AM – 2:45 PM (via MS Teams)
- Day 2 (In-Person): Monday 12th October 2026, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (at Great Ormond Street Hospital)
Do you work in an asthma service?
We will be running an asthma module in combination with the spirometry course, please review the two booking options below. The asthma module will cover FeNO, asthma diagnosis and monitoring using lung function. The module will run virtually on 8th October following the spirometry course (3-6pm). - General Paediatricians and Trainees
- Nurses (hospital or community-based)
- Allied Health Professionals
