Building Blocks for Clinicians

Have you ever been asked to comment on plans or sign off the design for a new clinic? Have you ever wondered why your operating theatre is not ergonomic? Do you sometimes despair at the layout of your ward? Are you interested in design but no-one will listen to your views? Do you think you could configure better areas for patients? Are you perplexed by the lack of clinical input into new healthcare facilities?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, this is the course for you. It will give you an overview of the processes involved in getting a project from conception, through briefing to construction. The course will be run in Central London.

The course is a multi-disciplinary collaboration between Great Ormond Street Hospital, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, the University of Greenwich, mjmedical health planning consultants, MURPHYPHILIPPS Architects. 

Open to Doctors, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals and those involved in the planning and development of clinical speaces.
