GOSH Nephro-Urology Course

The GOSH Nephro-urology course aims to increase your knowledge and understanding of paediatric nephrology using a range of symposiums and workshops. This three-day course (or two-day course for those attending online) consists of hybrid lectures on Tuesday and Wednesday, and for those attending the conference in London, there will be additional face-to-face only workshops on Monday.

The Kidney Research UK Annual Lecture forms part of the programme. Kindly supported by a grant from Kidney Research UK.

Course dates:

  • Tuesday 28 April 2026 - Hybrid lectures at Coram Campus, for both online and face-to-face attendees
  • Wednesday 29 April 2026 - Hybrid lectures at Coram Campus, for both online and face-to-face attendees

Learning objectives: 

  • To increase your knowledge and understanding of Paediatric Nephrology using different symposiums and workshops
  • To increase knowledge on the management of complex Paediatric Nephrology conditions
  • To network and increase collaboration for improving patient experience, education and research

Who should attend?

The course is suitable for paediatric nephrologists, including those training and members of the multi-disciplinary team, paediatricians with an interest in nephrology and general paediatricians

Monday 27 April 2026 - Workshops

  • Tubular and nephrocalcinosis cases
  • Research and mentoring workshop
  • Renal genetics and genomics
  • PM (from 17:30): Kidney Research UK (KRUK) Annual Lecture

Tuesday 28 April 2026 - Lectures 

  • Kidney replacement therapies
  • Pre-transplantation work-up
  • Renovascular hypertension

Wednesday 29 April 2026 - Lectures

  • CAKUT, bladder models and developmental biology
  • Nephrotic syndrome
  • Biopsy meeting: normal histology and nephrotic syndrome

Personal arrangements including travel, accommodation or hospitality relating to the event which have been arranged by you are at your own risk.
