  • To understand the principles of adult learning theory.
  • To apply educational theory to the design of an effective teaching session.  
  • To consider challenges in clinical teachings and formulate ways to manage these.
  • To compare and contrast different teaching styles of teaching.
  • To weigh methods of teaching clinical reasoning and how this could be applied in practice.
  • To examine ways of giving and receiving feedback in medical education
