An introduction to Paediatric Videofluoroscopy Swallow Study for the SLT

Topic: This course is aimed at dysphagia-trained SLTs interested in further developing their skills in paediatric VFSS. It is anticipated that delegates attending the course will be working with children with eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties.

Presentations will include rationale and benefits of VFSS; referral guidelines; benefits/challenges of a standardized approach; analysis, interpretation and management including the normal and abnormal swallow.
