Course overview:
The Fetal Cardiology Team at Great Ormond Street are excited to announce their training course aimed at increasing the confidence of screening/midwife sonographers and obstetricians in carrying out high quality fetal cardiac screening.
This course will run over 2 days and be delivered by Fetal Cardiology specialists.
- Day 1: Friday 6 June, 9:00-16:00: In-person lectures
Ryan Connolly Seminar Room, Zayed Centre for Research, 20c Guilford Street, London, WC1N 1DZ
- Day 2: Saturday 7 June, 9:00-12:45 or 13:15-17:00: In-person workshops
Echo lab (Walrus Clinical Investigations Unit), 1st Floor, Morgan Stanley Clinical Building Entrance, Great Ormond Street Hospital, WC1N 1EH
Hands on small group sessions with live scanning of the fetal heart. Delegates will be assigned to either the morning workshop (9:00-12:45) or the afternoon workshop (13:15-17:00). Groups will be a maximum of 3 people and 1 member of faculty and each member of the group will have the opportunity to scan the woman in the room

- £100: Day 1 ticket (6 June) - Sonographers
- £150: Day 1 ticket (6 June) - Medical
- £300: Both days ticket (6-7 June) - Sonographers*
- £350: Both days ticket (6-7 June) - Medical*
*Those attending both days will be asked for their preference of workshop time on day 2 - 9:00-12:45 (morning workshop) or 13:15-17:00 (afternoon workshop). We will try to accommodate your preference, but we may need to assign you to the alternative slot dependant on capacity and demand. Places are limited and offered on a first come, first served basis.

GOSH staff wishing to attend can either a) pay via debit/credit card (if they plan to self-fund their ticket) or b) apply through the Study Leave Fund or departmental funds (where applicable). Those applying via route b do not need to complete the registration form on this page. Please submit your study leave funding application and when approved the GLA Events Management Team will manually register you for the course.
