Who is this course for?
Physiotherapists currently practicing within a community and/or High Dependency environments.
Course overview
This is a face to face simulation based study day, aiming to provide the opportunity to enhance practice by utilising existing paediatric physiotherapy knowledge and skills and navigating these in a simulated HDU environment, using HDU scenarios and workshops.
Aims of the course:
•Develop clinical reasoning and non-technical skills within a critical care environment.
•Navigate acute paediatric care scenarios within a safe and supportive environment
•Gain an overview of current management of neuromuscular patients
•Explore the issues and practicing difficult conversations within physiotherapy.
