GOSH Nephro-Urology Course

Course Directors: Professor Stephen Marks and Dr Zainab Arslan

The GOSH Nephro-urology course aims to increase your knowledge and understanding of paediatric nephrology using a range of symposiums and workshops. This three-day course (or two-day course for those attending online) consists of hybrid lectures on Thursday and Friday, and for those attending the conference in London, there will be additional face-to-face only workshops on Wednesday for the second year running since the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Wednesday 17 April 2024 -  Face-to-Face only workshops at Holiday Inn Bloomsbury
  • Thursday 18 April 2024 - Hybrid lectures at Zayed Centre for Research, for both online and face-to-face attendees
  • Friday 19 April 2024 - Hybrid lectures at Zayed Centre for Research, for both online and face-to-face attendees

Learning objectives: 

  • To increase your knowledge and understanding of Paediatric Nephrology using different symposiums and workshops
  • To increase knowledge on the management of complex Paediatric Nephrology conditions
  • To network and increase collaboration for improving patient experience, education and research

Who should attend?

The course is suitable for paediatric nephrologists, including those training and members of the multi-disciplinary team, paediatricians with an interest in nephrology and general paediatricians

CPD:

RCPCH CPD approval is being applied for. Where approved, the basic unit of CPD activity is 1 hour of learning equals 1 CPD credit. Please note that CPD accreditation is not confirmed; details about accreditation will be updated as soon as possible.

Cancellation policy: 

Delegates are entitled to a full refund if they cancel their place more than 14 days before an event. All cancellation requests must be provided in writing to events.gla@gosh.nhs.uk. Personal arrangements including travel, accommodation or hospitality relating to the event which have been arranged by you are at your own risk. The GLA shall not be liable for the cost of these arrangements if you cancel your place at an event or if the event is cancelled or postponed by the GLA.

The personal data you provide to us on the event booking form is being collected so that we can contact you with important updates about the event, ensure your dietary and accessibility requirements are accommodated, process your payment, notify event partners or individuals shaping the event about the delegate list (only your name and job title/organisation will be shared. Your contact details will never be shared) and to pass on an evaluation survey after the event. It will only be used by the GLA for this purpose and the data will be securely deleted in line with GOSH’s data retention policies.
