Designed for clinical teams involved in the initial management and stabilisation of critically ill children in the District General Hospital or Accident & Emergency setting.
It aims to tutor the knowledge, skills and confidence required in the recognition, resuscitation, stabilisation for transfer of critically ill children.
Places are allotted for Paediatric, Anaesthetic and A&E nurses and doctors to try and replicate a realistic team makeup.
A special focus is placed on the importance of team performance.
