Enhancing assessment and communication skills for Health Care Support Workers

About the day

This is a bespoke simulation based study designed for patient facing Health Care Support Workers in the paediatric setting.

This has been developed to provide this core group with the opportunity to enhance their skills in assessment and communication. 


Learning Objectives for the course:

-Fundamental principles behind patient observations through A to E assessment

-Application of a structured approach to patient assessment through simulated patient scenarios

-Enhancement of skills in communication with fellow members of the Multi-disciplinary team


Who should apply

The course is available to patient facing Health Care Support workers, working within a paediatric setting
